Built in the 1800’s, the South End is a quaint neighborhood with brick rowhomes found on all of the quiet tree lined streets. The South End truly has a neighborhood like setting with countless, shorter streets and many parks peppered throughout. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and preserved by the South End Historical Society and Landmarks Commission, the neighborhood is well preserved and maintains its historic character.
The South End has grown to be a very popular place to live today. Young professionals, empty nesters and young couples are all found in this melting pot of diversity. An arts influence from the SoWa District galleries as well as numerous great restaurants has led to the South End to become one of the hottest spots to live in Boston.
